So very well expressed - from a mother and fulltime carer of my daughter now 26 living with this illness since 2010 you words and Shaun's picture book touched me so very much. Those little red leaves have been what has helped us get through many times over the years and we still keep looking for me. Thank you

This is such a beautiful piece and absolutely resonates so much. I was that teenager with ME but I also now have a daughter (not anywhere near as severe but definitely impacted by long covid and POTS) sending you both love xx

Beautiful piece. My heart goes out to you and your daughter. I was 29 when struck down with sudden onset myalgic encephalomyelitis. 35 years of waiting and waiting and waiting. There are hopeful signs... but still waiting.

Thank you. I’m Australian so Shaun Tan means a lot to me. I’m going into my sixth year of Long Covid and mild to moderate ME, this has been a beautiful read on a gloomy January 2nd.
